Zum letzten Geleit contains a balanced mixture of the most beautiful, tried and tested funeral pieces in new movements and compositions by Robert van Beringen. All pieces are scored for wind orchestra in a four-part variable instrumentation. A practical march format has been chosen for this edition so that music can be played not only at funerals but also at the cemetery.
