Performance instructions:

Instruments: 3 (or 6) trumpets and/orcornets/flugel horns4 (or 8) horns (French hornsor Eb horns or mixture)3 (or 6) trombones (2 tenors, 1 bass trombone)1 (or 2) tuba(s)4 drummers (in the 4 corners of the space).Drummer 1 doubles ontam tam and triangle.Drummers 2,3,4 double on cymbals and triangles at the end.

Optional instrumentalists: Orchestral/wind band forces: 3 flutes (each doubling piccolo), 3 clarinets, 3 alto saxophones, 2tenor saxophones, 1 baritone saxophone, organ (pipe organ or electric), 20 to 30 or more triangles(of varying pitches, standing in a large arch orrandomly around the space) and 20 to 40 or moreviolins and violas (interwoven amongst the triangles).
