Everybody knows the very popular song 'Gloria in Excelsis Deo', actually a thirteenth century French carol called 'Les Anges dans nos Campagnes' (The angels in our countryside). Jef Penders (1928) wrote the Dutch text and the arrangement for choir and wind band.
