This booklet contains the original sheet music for the song "Erinnerungen an Ludwig" (Memories of Ludwig) for piano. This arrangement refers to the minuet, 2nd movement from the Sonata No. 20 op. 49 No. 2 by Ludwig van Beethoven. Felix Reuter has transformed the minuet, originally written in lively three-four time, into a dreamy, contemplative pop ballad: in a quiet four-four time, with modern harmonics and a constantly flowing accompaniment of the left hand. In the middle section, he lets new melodic thoughts light up in a free-associative manner, in order to finally return home to the opening theme peacefully and with loving ornamentation.
