Bruce Springsteen wrote Fire in 1977 for his idol Elvis Presley, but he died the same year without being able to respond to the composition sent to him. Fire's first release was not by Springsteen, but by his colleague Robert Gordon, in 1978 the song was released with the Pointer Sisters. Peter Kleine Schaars now created an arrangement of this interpretation.
